Representative Consulting Services Team-building Workshops We use structured and semi-structured methods to strengthen teams. In our team-building workshops, no one is embarrassed or asked to do things that create discomfort. Executive Consultation We are often asked about the wisdom of particular courses of action. It is our job to provide executives and managers with actionable insights to enhance organizational effectiveness. Building Bridges and Resolving Conflicts Much of what we do involves strengthening relationships between individuals and between organizational units. We often intervene quickly but quietly to defuse tensions. Private Executive-Manager Coaching We frequently help executives increase their effectiveness as leaders by providing confidential coaching. Designing and Facilitating Off-premises Conferences Making conferences work is something we do week in and week out. It is our job to work with you to ensure that your meeting will be a success. We also provide key-note speakers in selected topic areas. Specialized Workshops Relational Dynamics, Inc. provides workshops on leadership, team-building, stress management, conflict resolution, internal consulting, principled negotiation, and life planning (including but not limited to retirement planning). Formal Psychological Evaluations We conduct psychological assessment on executive candidates; we also perform private development assessments for persons already employed. Psychological Market Research When one of the nation's largest and most prestigious urban newspapers wanted to know why so many of its subscribers were canceling, they turned to us... Traditional market research had failed to get beyond the superficial reasons given for cancellation, and the paper was puzzled. Its Editor urged the Market Research Department to call in a psychological consulting firm to dig a little deeper. We did just that. Through in-depth structured interviews, customized psychological assessment instruments, depth-oriented focus groups, telephone verification interviews, and other methods, we were able to find out what was going on. We also discovered exactly what the paper could do about it. The result? A more "reader-friendly" paper with a new edge to its marketing strategy. Before the changes, people said that they had "no time to read" the paper. After the changes, these same people ultimately reported spending more time with it - to the delight of the sales and circulation departments! |
